this is very important for our body, for it to function properly because it is what helps stabilized the body temperature.
2. Give three examples of ways your skin helps mantain homeostasis in your body?
this is like a guard that protects your body from foreign particles,temperature is the most important because it helps protect inside organs from cold that is in the envirorment.
a. acts as a physical barrier against dirt and microorganisms entering the body
b. the skin layer helps protect the internal organs that way keeping them safe so they can work.
c. helps stimulate the temperature. and provides physical barrier for any external foreign particle.
3. Explain one way that your body maintains a constant temperature while outside on a cold day.
when you are exposed to cold that is in the envirorment, you involunatrily start to shake uncontrollably, till the contraction of your skeleton muscle release het that warms your body and then it stops the shivering.

Homeostasis is important because it is a mechanism which maintains a constant body environment for optimum body function. An example of this can be the heart which pumps blood faster to maintain the body at a certain temperature.Then the receptors in the skin signal or show a heat increase and send a signal to the hypothalamus which is the indicator. As a result you get vasodilation, in other words your hair lies flat on the skin, sweating and so on. This is important to a healthy function body because heat affects proteins for example. Say some hormones have a narrow optimum temperature, if it were to stay constantly high, then the hormones wouldn't function properly same goes for enzymes and a disordr might happen.

The skin acts as a protective shield for your body protecting it against foreign particles. The temperature would be the most important thing your skin helps regulate because without it humans would be like cold blooded animals, the same temperature as their enviroment.
- It acts as a physical barrier against dirt and microorganisms entering the body. Whenever you get hurt or cut it creates a scar tissue to keep the microorganisms out of the body.
- Its skin layers helps protect the internal organs, that way keeping them safe. If you get cut they will create some sort of regenerating tissue to keep all the internal organs safe.
- Reacts to stimuli when there is a change in body temperature. Your hairs drop so you sweat and that way keep up to the temperature until you are dehydrated.

Shivering is one of the reactions that the body makes in a cold day. The muscles contract and releases heat in the body.
An example is when you are outside on a cold day your body keeps you warm by pulling cappilaries and small blood vessels in closer to your body in order to help keep the more important internal organs (heart, lungs, etc.) warm and functoning properly.Thats why your fingers and toes get cold first, your body realizes they are not of nearly the same importance as your vital organs.

homeostasis is the internal stability of our body it is very important because our tissues can only survive in a narrow range of temperature, and homeostasis keeps the temperature around 37ºc so we can survive.

- when the external temperature is too hot your skin responds to this stimuli by sweating trought its pores to lower the internal temperature.

on a cold day you shiver so you maintain your temperature, when you shiver your skeletal muscles rapidly contract realising heat so your internal temperature doesn't change.
It is the function of maintaining your body temperature regulated. Disorders can be prevented if it wouldn't be for homeostasis.

Homeostasis is what maintains the stability of the body, this stability is needed because tissues can survive only under certain conditions, these conditions are known as set points, and homeostasis produces changes in your body to maintain these set points as the outside environment changes. Homeostasis helps maintain body equilibrium.

The last example is that skin acts like a cushion to protect internal organs from injury.
