It is the function of maintaining your body temperature regulated. Disorders can be prevented if it wouldn't be for homeostasis.
2. Give three examples of ways your skin helps mantain homeostasis in your body?
- It acts as a physical barrier against dirt and microorganisms entering the body.
- Its skin layers helps protect the internal organs, that way keeping them safe.
- Reacts to stimuli when there is a change in body temperature.
3. Explain one way that your body maintains a constant temperature while outside in a cold day?
Shivering is one of the reactions that the body makes in a cold day. The muscles contract and releases heat in the body.
Your responses are very precise, but I think you could develop or explain a bit better your second reason for question number 2, because the way that you stated it is a bit confusing.
